Client challenge

Our client required reliable access to existing fixed communications infrastructure (S-Band and C-Band) in challenging urban environments.

Our solution

We conducted extensive R&D, designing and building a prototype that incorporated a Cojot Steerable Beam Array (SBA) antenna. Our team developed software to automatically identify and track optimal beam patterns in dynamic environments.

Implementation and trials

The prototype underwent rigorous testing in both rural and urban settings. These trials demonstrated significant advantages over existing systems, particularly in urban environments where identifying the ‘optimal’ RF path is complex. The prototype effectively discovered and utilised reflections that are typically difficult to predict or locate without prior knowledge.
